This Weetbix Slice is a healthy no-bake slice option.

We think Weetbix Slice Recipes belong in the ‘All time Aussie’ list! Up there with Lamingtons, Pavlova and Vegemite, Weetbix have been around for years.

In fact, Weetbix became a regular part of the Australian breakfast routine in the 1920s – with the first deliveries to grocers being made by horse and cart. You’ll probably remember about 15 years ago, Weetbix brought back the original Weetbix pack that claimed “The Ideal Breakfast Food”, “Made in a Minute” and “The Healthy Biscuit”. The product was introduced as a budget-friendly breakfast solution… which was a good thing considering 1929 marked the start of The Great Depression in Australia.

Today Australians are obviously all still munching on Weetbix for breakfast, but the humble biscuit has gone way beyond just adding milk.  There are now hundreds of Weetbix Slice recipes everywhere! There’s even a new sensation called overnight Weetbix that has Australians obsessed!

We love that MoM Member Mrs A’s Weetbix Slice recipe is a no-bake option. Perfect for a quick snack and also perfect if you want to let the kids whip up their own batch of Weetbix Slice.

Here’s what Mrs A said when she shared her Weetbix Slice Recipe:

“Full of the goodness of Weetbix with a little bit of sweet to make it a special treat”

Thanks Mrs A! We love all your recipes!

  • I like that the only sugar in this is a little honey. Most Weetabix slice recipes still have a ton of sugar which is disappointing

    • The topping of dark chocolate may contain sugar too, unless you buy a healthier sugarfree dark chocolate
