    Everyone in our household taste tested Devondale Dairy Soft. We love the taste of soft butter; we love butter on crackers; on toast and on sandwiches. The verdict is: We Love Devondale Dairy Soft! It is a soft and delicious spread. It is more expensive that the usual spread; however it is worth the extra cost. Will buy this spread again.

  • Great taste, easy to spread!

    Our family loves Devondale dairy soft spread. It doesn't contain all the nasties of margerine and is super easy to spread. Also tastes fantastic. Use on toast, sandwiches in baking whatever you normally use butter for.

  • Always soft and easy to spread

    My family are a bit butter mad and this has been passed on to my grand daughter. She will not have margarine on her cheese sandwiches. I found that the Dairy Soft had the same great taste as butter does but not the same problem with spreading. The bread did not tear at all and it passed the test. My grand daughter happily accepted it was butter and mucnhed away.

    i must say we love devondale soft to spread it makes baking a dream wither normal butter you need to let it go to room temperature or its hard to break down but with devondale soft to spread you dont need to waste time waiting for the butter to go to room temperature, its perfect for all baking and cooking needs

  • fantastic!

    My family has been using Devondale butters for as long as I can remember.They have such a wide variety, so all the different preferences. My mum gets her full fat, rip your bread to pieces butter, sister gets her light butter and I get my extra light, extra spreadable. No matter what type, it has the beautiful smooth consistency of a good butter.

    Devondale dairy soft is the only butter that I will buy. The whole family love it. it is so, so easy to spread and yet still tastes like real fresh butter. We have tried many different types and brands and this is the one that the entire family agreed on

  • Loved the taste

    The whole family loved the taste. I was surprised at how easy it was to spread too. Everyone commented on how creamy it tasted and wanted to know what butter I had switched to. It is a very reasonable price too. I would recommend this to anyone.

  • Delicious and spreadable

    Devondale Dairy Soft is a welcome addition to the already impressive Devondale brand. Living up to its name, the buttery goodness was very easy to spread and my ever so independent 5 year old daughter enjoyed using it daily to butter her own sandwiches. Devondale Dairy Soft was well received by all members of the family. Will definitely be buying again!

  • Best Butter Out There.

    This Is By Far The Best Butter I Have Ever Had. The Only Butter I Buy And Use On Everything. I Buy It To Do My Baking Aswell. It Gives Food That Nice Taste Unlike Other Butters Out There. Would recommend This To Any One Who Hasnt Tried. I Promise This Butter Will Not Dissapoint!

  • Convenience plus same great results!

    Devondale Dairy Soft does spread perfectly on bread straight from the fridge. But what I love most is not having to wait for the butter to soften when I would like to use it for baking. And the wonderful part is that it doesn't alter the taste or recipe in any way leaving you with the same great results!

  • Easily spreadable but still tastes like butter!

    We regularly use the Devondale dairy soft in our house as it is the only one that we feel still tastes like butter but is soft and easy to spread. It does not need to be taken out of the fridge to soften which is required for normal butter and it is kid friendly to.

  • We love our butter

    We eat a lot of butter. Love butter on everything. .. This butter stays soft even in the fridge. Easy to spread and taste great. Creamy yummy. Great price also ..,the whole family love this. Hubby loves it on his sandwiches and now I do not need to tear the bread .. So yes we are buying this all the time now

  • Butter...yum!

    For me, the biggest appeal of Devondale Dairy Soft is how easy it is to spread on plain, simple bread...no holes! It goes on so easy straight from the fridge, no softening is required!

    The taste of Devondale Dairy Soft can't be all that bad either, considering the number of times I've caught the kids licking the knife after spreading the butter on their toast or bread. Devondale Dairy Soft tastes light and creamy, not at all salty or heavy tasting.

    I like using Devondale Dairy Soft and think it's a great product if you are after a spreadable butter straight from the fridge with no softening required.

  • Delicious taste!

    The Devondale Dairy Soft butter is absolutely delicious! It tastes just like butter straight from the block but is in a convenient tub to easily spread on toast. Sometimes however it can be a little hard to spread on fresh bread. My hubby absolutely loves the taste of it - as does my little guy! It is reasonably priced also.

    My kids enjoy using Devondale Dairy Soft, they find it easy to use and enjoy the great taste.

    Devondale Dairy Soft has a smooth, creamy taste. It's not at all salty and feels wonderfully light.

    Spreading Devondale Dairy Soft onto fresh bread is incredibly easy, no holes! Even my kids can do it, no problems. No need to soften before use, you can use it straight from the fridge.

  • Staple in the fridge!

    Absolutely love Devondale Dairy Soft. After reading year ago what margarine consists of, I've always bought butter for spreading or cooking. Sometimes it can be hard to spread though, and rip bread and end up with sandwiches with holes in them. Devondale is soft enough to use straight out of the fridge without waiting for it to melt a little. It also tastes great, so a winner all round!

  • The new normal purchase

    This butter has become the new normal purchase for us. We used to use other brands, either butter or marg, or grab what ever was on special. This is now the only butter we buy. It spreads from the fridge, taste great and is much better for you than marg. Highly recommended

    I have been using this product for some time and would not use anything else. tastes great, is easy to use straight out of the fridge, a healthier option as well as affordable. it also is great for baking as is soft and ready to be used and mixes in well as well as giving the delicios buttery taste,

    I buy Devondale Dairy Soft on regular bases, usually stocking up when it is on sale. It is a great tasting spread, goes on so smoothly and easily, no ripping up the bread! While it doesn't taste like true butter it is pretty damn close. Love using Devondale Dairy Soft it's my favourite brand of spreadable butter.

  • Great taste and Easy to spread

    I like the Devondale dairy soft. It has a nice taste and its so easy to spread on other foods. You can store it in the fridge or pantry but even when in it's been in the fridge it's still easy to spread not like other spread where it's hard and lumpy. Great spread especially for busy mums rushing to make breakfast or lunch in the mornings.

    After reading the reviews by Mom’s community members I decided to try Devondale Dairy Soft. I was able to easily locate this product at my local grocery store. It is more expensive than my usual spread. I will test if over the next few days and see if it passes the family taste test.

  • Tried it before and it’s definitely one of the better companies to do surveys with. They make it so easy, the website is easy to navigate and the surveys are generally not too long. It’s easy to do whilst on the couch or filling in time! Definitely worth checking out to earn some extra cash.

  • Purkle is fun! Not a lot to earn from but if you like filling up surveys or voicing ypir opinions, it is definitely worth a try. Sometimes there are survey on music which are the most fun ones and also, these are the ones that reward the most. Not bad to earn a gift card or 2 in a year!

  • I love Purkle. While the surveys don’t award massive sums, the surveys themselves are never long. Other platforms want a minimum of 10 minutes which can be hard to commit to during day time chaos. It doesn’t take long to accumulate a decent sum, and I use gift cards as a way to treat myself. They can be redeemed for grocery gift cards. I’ve cashed out over $200 in a year and a half. Give it a go!

  • I’ve been with Purkle for a few years now. One of my favourite survey and money earning platforms. Easy to build up a balance and redeem your earnings. Love sitting down and completing my purkle surveys, to see balance grow. I use this to treat myself or put towards presents for Christmas

  • I’m not having any luck with purkle. I tried to sign up for it and it just wasn’t working so I emailed them and didn’t hear back, I just tried again now and managed to create an account but then the activation email contained no link to click and actually activate my account. From the comments here it looks like I’m not missing anything anyway

  • I’ve earnt a bit through Purkle and other survey sites. They are great passive income. I don’t mind that Purkle pays in gift cards as it provides a great opportunity for me to buy something for myself as opposed to putting cash away for expenses. But cash is always good!

  • Surveys have been great to keep me awake while feeding my newborn at night but I agree with some of the comments that the time commitment is too high for the benefit. I do not believe i will continue using it once baby starts to sleep through and get through feeds quicker.

  • I tried Purkle for approx 1 year and quite frankly it’s really not worth your time
    Very few surveys and very low amounts paid
    Worst thing is it only pays in gift cards so no cash
    I gave up and just stuck with my original survey site that I’ve been using for years
    It makes me $120 average in PayPal a week without too much effort and supplies the family with an annual holiday without touching the household budget

  • It’s a shame I’m already a member and can’t enter the competition. Surveys in general – including Purkle – can be a good way to earn some money, but just remember you won’t earn much from any one survey. It does add up over time though, and isn’t particularly difficult to do.

  • This is a nice way to earn a bit extra money but you won’t earn a lot. Some surveys time out too which is annoying or hey just stop working half way through. If you have spare time and want to do it then why not. I sometimes do these on the train on my way to work and it slowly builds up to allow you to get a reward. It all helps.

  • I joined Purkle ages ago but to be honest I have never used it and totally forgot that I joined let alone that I could be earning money and points while being at home. Any opportunity to make some money and try to help financially, off I go to rejoin I think!

  • Purkle is a great surveys site. I’ve redeemed vouchers from there. You’re not going to make a fortune from it but you do definitely earn for your time. I haven’t done any for a while as I just haven’t had rhe time but I’ll definitely get back into it. The vouchers always come in handy.

  • The inner sceptic in me will prevent me signing up! I’m not against a survey, however I would rather do one here and there when I can with the incentive of winning something big! Even a $100 voucher. At the rate I win, it works out better than signing up for this.
