I’m really enjoying IGAs cash back scheme, all you need to do is download the IGA rewards app, select your store and view what cash back offers there are. It can range from a few cents to a few dollars, I’ve even seen some cash back offers of up to 50% back. I love that IGA have introduced a cashback rewards program. Amazing to help us earn money back on things we need to buy anyway, and also incentivise us to buy things we may not necessarily need (helloooo treats), but happy to buy due to the cashback! We love our little local IGA it’s my walking distance supermarket and my first port of call for basics and top ups. I’m so excited IGA have launched their own rewards program, and a fabulous one at that. I was intrigued and excited to try the new IGA Cashback program. It was easy to set up and add the card to my wallet. I was impressed by the wide range of products available for cash back. I spent roughly $20 and got $10 cashback. One item, the pasta sauce did not record. I emailed the customer support team who needed a photo of my receipt and then they manually added it. I ended up with $11.35 cashback which was amazing! More than half! I did find the specials page a little frustrating at times when I had to keep refreshing it when the list shortened. Being able to sort it by category, aisle number or search in the future would be great.

The IGA Rewards app is fantastic, it’s a no brainer to earn cash back on items you would normally buy. There’s so many offers available, and the $20 cash back is a really great incentive to do more regular shopping at IGA. The app scanned easily, the IGA staff were friendly and helpful, and I’ll definitely keep using this.

IGA rewards is highly rewarding! There are some many offers available for receiving cashback. Some cash back offers are actually quite high compared to total cost of the product. This app has brought some much needed fun and enjoyment to what is normally a dreaded shopping task that becomes a chore. With IGA rewards I am actively in it and looking for new products aswell.

I had the opportunity to trial using the
IGA app to complete a grocery shop.
I found the app easy to use and added the IGA rewards card to my Apple wallet.
The app displays cash back offers with either money going back to your IGA app within 48hrs or receiving a percentage off of an item.
Once you have have $20 built up in your rewards app you will then be able to use this money for future shops!
So it’s a win win really!

I loved this for a rewards program! Money back in your pocket to purchase more groceries just makes sense to me! No more silly cookware campaigns but actual cashback from purchasing the groceries you need, what a genius idea. IGA has such a great range of food to choose from and I especially love black & gold.

I recently tried the iga rewards app. It was easy to use and understand. There was a good variety of different products for me to get a cash back on only on selected products. Once you get to the $20 spend . The cash then unlocks as a digital Visa card you can spend instore. I would highly recommend.

Pack Smart, Not Big

Get Safety Sorted Before The Fun Starts

Swimming between the flags at the beach
Setting a meeting spot in case anyone gets separated
Sunscreen: Always apply sunscreen 20 minutes before heading outdoors. And set alarms to reapply every two hours throughout the day. Reapply immediately after swimming or using a towel.

I pre-chop carrots, cucumber, apples, boiled egg, in a handy separating container, a packet of chips, dip, and bring water bottles. A chaos-free beach day. Yes please!
You don’t need a military-style plan to enjoy a sunny day out. A beach trolley, some prep, and an easy sunscreen like SmartMist™ are enough to help things run calmly – or at least calm-ish!

Going to the beach used to be such a white when my kids were younger, but nkw they’re older and can walk its soo much easier! Im usually on my own as my husband works a lot, so I try and minimise what I bring. Our cool cabana is always a must, as well as insulated drink bottles with water and snacks! Planning for a trip to the beach can be a lot of effort and quite a drive for me as i am at least 30 minutes away from the local beach. I find I have to pack a lot of things but this article was a fantastic read as i never thought that Talcum powder could help remove sand. I am going to try this, i love the idea. I also like the idea of packing bento boxes for each person rather than taking lots of different containers with food in it.
Along with strategic planning for a trip to the beach it is also very important to plan the time of day for a trip to the beach. We always check the UV index and we also make a trip to the beach when it is cooler and avoid the hottest part of the day.
A great article with loads of useful tips! I find that to enjoy one day at the beach needs a week of preparation. It’s a real chore to make sure you’ve got everything… and then you need 2 dozen hands to carry everything. We actually bought a beach trolley on wheels which helps to transport all our stuff from the car to the beach. So much easier!
I agree with the less is more approach when going to the beach. We plan and get organised early and pack and then stand back and take a good look and then repack. It is surprising what is actually needed and used at the beach. An approach that is organised is the key to a great time at the beach.

Not quite as elaborate as the pop up tent, but a large towel with a hood has been great to discretely change out of bathers! It’s my husband’s go to now haha
My biggest tip is to be very clear who’s watching the kids, especially when they’re in the water. Like, actually verbally hand over and make sure it’s acknowledged if you’re going somewhere (like to the bathroom). That can definitely save lives, but also save panics about lost kids in crowded spaces.
Some really good tips here! I had no idea about the talcum powder hack – who would have known! That is amazing and I will definitely try it next time we go to the beach! It is definitely worthwhile getting things ready the night before though, especially if you want to leave before midnight lol.
