Its all relative…..

So everyone walk into your kids room and look at all their things. Then imagine what someone who is struggling to buy food for their children, someone who doesnt have a house, etc…imagine what they would say. They would say you have gone way over the top with your child.

This is a bit too much, but every parent for themselves I guess!

I guess she has the money for it but personally I think it’s excessive.

Why would you buy a 9 year old a car? It’s probably because her daughter suggested they needed a bigger car and Mum thought she’d say it was her daughter’s. Her daughter won’t be able to drive it for 7-8 years so it’s no use to her. It can’t be insured or registered in her daughter’s name either. Hope Pixie doesn’t turn into a spoilt brat.

Pretty sure I can think of lots of other, child friendly, age appropriate gifts she could have bought for her daughter. Having said that, the kids probably have all that and more already

A most inappropriate gift for a nine-year-old, a bike would have been better!

Perhaps the accountant was suggesting some money needed to be spent! This just seems absolutely ridiculous, flashy, and showy. But Roxy does what Roxy wants for her children. Not sure why you need to post it though.

Her company Sweaty Betty doesn’t have the best organisation skills either so I wonder how it makes any money half the time. They so call organise food bloggers to attend venues at a certain date and time but when they show up, the venue has no idea?!
Seems to match how she rolls too as this really isn’t a gift her daughter can even utilise.

Clearly the car is the mums …by the time the kid is old.enough to drive it they would have got anotjer one anyway with that sort.of money in the bank

  Personally I don’t think a car is the best investment and it will be a while before her daughter can drive the car.

I am generally into live and let live, but this is ridiculous. Although it’s unclear; the car might actually be her mother’s and she’s just joking about it being hers.

How pointless, why didn’t she put the money into a savings account for her.

  I’ll guarantee it’s not going to sit idle until Pixie is old enough to drive. (even if it doesn’t do much km it will still have to have an oil change every 12 months or it will go thick in the bottom of the motor etc and be hard to drain even when the motor is warm). If there was 3 children, more than one of them still in capsule, babyseat or boosterseat it is a practical idea.. 3 of those seats will definitely not fit the passenger seat of the average car now, They only just fitted in a very old model Commodore they were touching and almost touching the doors. The vehicle sounds like a standard people mover. They all have additional seats that can be folded down and create more boot space……As a side note If the family lived in Australia and cash was put in a bank account a PAYE (tax) return would have to be done. Imagine the tax payable……and the gift duty paid by the parent/s

Seems like a pointless gift for someone who can’t use it! I think a cubby house or even the trampoline probably would have been more suitable. By the looks of things the girl sells hair bows? Not sure how you go from that to a car
