Thanks to these innovative demolition zones, you can now go crazy and smash stuff up to help ease your frustration.

Starting from around $50 per person, a session in a Smash Room is perfect for date night, or helping a friend through a breakup. It would also make a perfect Father’s or Mother’s Day gift.

Rage rooms, also known as smash rooms or anger rooms, are quite the trendy these days and they offer a safe place for people to shatter away their anger – literally. You can throw a plate across a room, take a massive hammer to an old computer or smash a picture of your ex against the wall.

Customers are flocking to smash room as a form of stress relief, not anger management. It’s a way to relieve pressure that you may not even know is there.

Some smash room devotees describe a session as ‘cathartic’ and apparently some therapists actually recommend a smashing session as part of their therapy.

  • My cousin goes to The Break Room regularly. I might have done it pre kids but probably wouldn’t now.

  • Not my cup of tea, but I can see the appeal for some people.

  • Something different… I wonder if there’s money to be made in buying cheap properties for people to smash?

  • I took my husband to one of these places for his birthday. We absolutely loved it. I would highly recommend it for a bit of fun…or stress relief.

  • Pretty epic idea. I’d also line up for a messy event like a paint room and create a Picasso to take home. I’ve always wanted to try darts into paint balloons at someone else’s place – mess prevents me
