Hello!

Up until very recently I always took things for granted. I always would assume that we were promised tomorrow with health but it’s not true. Things can happen so quickly and you wish that you were elsewhere and that nothing had ever happened. I now thank my lucky stars for everyday I get to hold my child and kiss them goodnight to tell the. How much I love them is special. We aren’t promised tomorrow we aren’t even promised today. Life is to short to hold grudges, to hold things against people to fight over he small and insignificant things that won’t even matter when we pass. Please remember everyday is special. Tell someone you love them, give them a hug stop to tell people how you feel and to share in the small things and triumphs. I wish all you Mums an amazing 2015 with as little heartache as possible! Xxx

  • Such a nice written article which is so true. We do tend to take things for granted and we need to stop and appreciate the people in our lives more.

  • Very true!
I try to always treat every day like the last to make sure my family knows how much I love them and to savor the love I get in return. I’ve made a habit of always doing something special on our birthdays for the same reason. Never know when it will be the last year for a family member, we have a few elder members that I’m not sure how long they’ll be around for.

  • Beautiful and so true xx
This week there has been 2 tragic losses for people/families I know and it really does make you realise how lucky you are and how you should never take a persons presence for granted.
Hope you’re having a fantastic 2015 so far xx

  • Such an important thing to remember and it seems that life is throwing me many reminders of this over the last few years with the loss of people out of the blue. Wishing you all the best in 2015 too x

  • This is such a simple yet so true concept. So many people take what they have for granted – thinking if they had more ‘money, time’ etc they would be happier. Its what you have NOW that matters – not what you may have in the future.

    • This is a beautiful post and sums up nicely what I already pretty much think.

  • yes I still tell my 18 year old & my 16 year old I love them every night as I strongly believe that it’s vital to Let your children know how you feel they may already know but it’s still important to let your children know that they are loved and how precious they are to you

  • Great advice! You are so right. We can get caught up in the rush of day to day and forget the most important thing is to appreciate and love the ones that matter to us the most. Sounds like maybe you’ve had a tough time lately, hope everything is OK.
