Christmas Saving Club. - Real Mum story on MoM

Arriving home today after work, mu lovelly husband has a coffee made for me and as I sit down to enjoy it whileand open the mail to find the first of my christmas savings club cards has arrived. The Myer christmas saving club and to my suprise they had added $10 for every $100 I contributed so my $650- turned into $710- So a big thankyou Myer and this evening I might start browsing for the first christmas presents this year online! Every year I plan on being organised and ready however here I am heading towards mid-november and I have no presents and really no idea what im buying!!!

I used to do the Chrisco Hampers. Until hubby suggested putting that same amount of money away every week instead of spending it on the hampers. Worked out we could buy so much more with the money we saved, compared to the hamper. So we do it every year now

I’ve never actually heard of Myer doing a Christmas saving scheme. It’s a great idea (and waiting till December isn’t a bad idea either – there are usually some great savings then)

I started Christmas shopping online a few weeks ago Great bargains on the Aussie websites you’ll be amazed. Point to remember is some take 6 weeks to arrive depending when the deal finishes. Happy shopping.
