Id just turned 21 and had my first child a lovely baby girl she weighed a healthy 6lb 130z the onlkky problem i had was she was born facing wrong way which was very painfull,as she would not turn around in birth canal.

Everything was going great until 2 weeks after the birth chunks of my long blonde hair was falling out,it was every were all over the carpet,shower,bed and in my hairbrush,Wasnt long and i was completely bald i went to a doctor and he told me i had alopecha aretra i am now 45 and still no hair today

  • I know of a guy who suddenly developed at form of alopecha and has no hair, including no body hair at all.

  • Oh no, how traumatic! And for it not to come right after all these years! I guess it’s been so long now,mat least you’re used to having no hair. Or are you still struggling with it all?

  • That must have been devastating. A young girl where I live (friends with her mother) cut off all her long hair and raised donations to create a wig for children with your condition.
