One of our favourite things on election day is the sausage sizzle and cake stall which supports the local school. We always buy snags, slices and cakes as a voting tradition to raise funds.

Our local CFS has a BBQ too but I later discovered that raising funds was not their purpose. They wanted to get some information out to residents but people were just buying the food and not taking the information!
