Whilst out on a regular Saturday family drive along the beautiful coastline which surrounds Espence, U husband reached down for his dare iced coffee whem my 5 year pld boy shouts from the back seat ” DRINK DRIVER ALERT” weewoo weewoo (makes police siren noises!)My 11 & 13 yeah old join in than join in wwith weewoo weewoo(more siren sounds) whatch ya gunna do drink driver drink driver when the policeman es for you. My husbamd and I looked at each other and laughed. This. little song erupted each and every time their dad took a sip of his. non alcoholic drink!
Its obvious to me that those preventive adds actually work on my boys! With all the senseless waste of life you see on the news each night, the police shows e.g RBT etc my kids ask alot of questions and I answer them as accuratelly and honestly as possible. My husband and I also try to lead by example we dont drink alot but when we do we NEVER drink drive kids learn from ehat they see and experience we choose to set a goo example never have druven drunk dont intend to start now.
