This morning a unique conversation started and then ended in toddler tears.

Husband: ‘Babe, we’re you cold last night?’

me: ‘I guess so, why?’

husband:’Because you stole the blanket all night’

Oldest child: ‘omg mum, your not allowed to steal you will go to jail!’

middle child: ‘oh mum!’

oldest child: ‘you always say its wrong to take things, now your going to jail’

middle child: *runs to toddler* ‘It’s ok mate, mummy’s going to jail’

Toddler: *bursts into tears and cries*

I think the family understands stealing is wrong at this point.
