What a week it has been! Seventeen month old came down with a viral infection, then husband had a bad case of stomach bug (probably the same thing). With a little one sick you just don’t rest – even when they are resting you are catching up or on guard. A few days solid of washing, cleaning and running around after two sickies was just exhausting. And then I got sick with the same thing. As much as I’d have loved a day off resting in bed this was not what I had in mind! And so this week I am just grateful that everyone is over this stomach bug and back to relatively good health.

  • Nothing worse than Tummy bugs …yuk!

  • Nothing worse than having a sick household.

  • glad to hear!

  • How true. You really start to appreciate the little things after a bout of illness in the family.

  • once one of my kids gets sick we all do its not nice in this household with a bunch of sickies.

  • I think we can all relate to this. Not at all nice to be sick. To have a whole house-hold is exhausting. This reminds me of not so long ago I was at work ( I am a nurse ) I had been really sick with the flu , really high temps etc ( I am a single Mum) So doesn’t matter how sick you feel you have to cook and get them too and from school , as you know Anyway I was looking after a man who was sick with the flu, and for the life of me I just couldn’t feel any empathy at all. I hope your partner helped you once he got better.
