Hello!

you and me both!!! everytime I am asked “Oh is she an only child -aren’t you having more” I feel so guilty, like I am doing her harm. Reality is I would love more, but she was 15 years of trying, so I am not holding my breath!!

I do get that awful feeling inside, and feel like telling whomever is asking why she is an only child, but it always feels like I am just making an excuse!

As long as you love and care for your offspring, it should not matter how many you have!

  • Uufortunately even if Mums do want to have another baby it isn’t always possible. becuase of medical problems. Mums shouldn’t have to feel as though they are expected to give an explanation to others.

  • That’s so true! I always think people should reconsider asking those questions about having more children. They don’t know the full story or problems that a couple may be having.

    • Very true! It’s like as soon as the first bub is born everyone is asking about the next.
