To be honest, we have had a tough 2013. It’s been hard, really hard with hubby diagnosed with depression, having a breakdown, losing his job, mother in law with breast cancer… And so the list goes on. We were amazed to hear that our family was nominated to a “spirit of Christmas” appeal, and had another local family wanting to make out Christmas brighter. These angels bought a gift for each of the children, and a joint family gift, an hamper filled with all different sorts of yummy goodies, and a gift card!
We were absolutely floored that there are people around like this, and am desperately hoping that this is the start of a better run for our little family.
