Hello!

I have a five month old son, we use toweling cloth nappies and have done since he came home from hospital. At around 3 months we started using the potty also, this is not to toilet train hi, but get him used to the potty, with the added bonus that if he goes in the potty, it is one less nappy for me to clean. My son is getting quite good with the potty, and as long as I keep alert to the signs I have learnt mean he needs to go to the toilet, we can go days with only wet nappies, no dirty ones. I have told my MIL tonnes of times, the he is training me, not the other way around, but she insists on telling every man and their dog that he is toilet trained. Of course none of them believe her, but they now don’t believe the things she says that he can actually do. I then get messages from distant relatives telling me my MIL is getting batty. Sigh…. Families…
