  • I’d love to get into yoga but living in a remote area and there being only 1 day of kinder makes it difficult. Maybe when my youngest is at school and I have time to travel somewhere on the right day. I’d love just once a week.

  • Hi! I’m a yoga instructor and I work with both pre and post natal Mums. In an ideal world we would all practice every day however the reality of life is that this is difficult!! I would encourage you to attend at least one class a week but then try to fit in a yoga practice at home as well. This could just be 5 minutes of childs pose, or a few rounds of Sun Salutations. Any time that you can slow down and focus on your breath is beneficial. Most importantly, enjoy your yoga practice and take the time out to look after yourself. Lauren

  • I used to go to a class once a week but always did some kind of home practice at least two times per week (even if it was sitting and breathing for a short time). My yoga teacher was (and still is) a bit believer in daily practice.

  • I only go once a week as that’s all the time I have. But my advice is to keep doing it. Some of the poses can be quite tricky to begin with – especially with the breathing. But if you keep going it gets easier with time.

  • At home, I’ve been doing 10 sun salutes, 6 days a week for the past 10 years. I have bouts every 2 years or so where I will go to a class 1-2 times a week for about 6 months. Do what feels right and it’s always possible to take 5 minutes here or there at home to practice a pose.
