We are coming to the end of the season for all the winter sports and my kids are in various teams. It is at this time of year when we all collect money and buy a thank you gift for the wonderful coaches. All of the coaches my kids have are volunteers and give up saturdays or sundays for matches and an afternoon or two in the week to train the team. They don’t get paid and they do it because they want to. So I would just like to say a big thank you to all the coaches, team managers, umpires and admin staff who make kids sport happen through their dedication and commitment. It is a wonderful thing to give to the community.
