Sydney’s The Grounds of Alexandria has done it again, with an Aladdin inspired pop up event that will see you enter a whole new world…

The Grounds of Alexandria are known for their Instagrammable food, unique beverages and unmissable events and this latest one is no exception. To celebrate the release of the live-action film Aladdin, The Grounds have transformed into the magical city of Agrabah, complete with magic lamps, flying carpets and delicious treats – but it won’t last long!

Just Like Magic

Visitors to Agrabah can make their grand entrance through The Palace, wandering through the majestic archways, taking in the gold detail and beautiful lanterns along the way. They can then visit The Cave, with a magic display at 10 am, midday and 2 pm each day. The Market Place is a highlight of The Grounds installation, filled with all the sweet treats you could imagine (Aladdin themed of course!).

There’s even a limited edition pistachio sponge available for the event, filled with white chocolate/orange blossom mousse and raspberry confit. Add to that the Magic Carpet Ride slushy, with a special colour transforming potion added, and you’ve got the ultimate family experience.

About To Disappear

If you want to take in all the magic of Agrabah and immerse yourself in the world of Aladdin, you haven’t got long! The pop up ends on June 16th! Every Instagram picture taken at the event, when captioned with #FriendLikeMe, will see Disney donate $5 to the Make A Wish Foundation so you can have a great family day out and make a difference.
