Howzat?! Woolworths Bricks are back, and this time they’re all about home life, with a fun cricket twist.

Woolies latest collectibles collection launches on January 28, with 40 different Bricks to collect, inspired by everyday household and pantry items, plus pets and family characters, including Laura, a Woolworths Cricket Blast girl.

Because no Aussie home is complete without a bit of backyard cricket, the set also includes cricket stumps and even a recycling bin stump. It’s a clever little touch that celebrates Aussie childhood memories made in the backyard.

Bricks Home packs are available in store and online at Woolworths, BIG W, Metro and MILKRUN, including Pick Up, Direct to Boot and delivery. You’ll receive one Bricks Home pack for every $30 spent, plus a bonus pack when you buy products from participating brands like Uncle Tobys, Whiskas, Swisse, Quilton, OMO, Nescafe, Bega Cheese excluding cream cheese, and many more.

Families can also buy extra merchandise packs to deck out their mini home, including a Home Starter Pack for $10, plus add-ons like a Living Room Pack, Garden and Outdoor Pack, Pets Pack, Family Car, Delivery Truck and more, with prices ranging from $6 to $10.

There’s also a sustainability win here. Woolworths Bricks Home is made from 100 percent recycled plastic and is certified by the Global Recycled Standard. Once your kids are done playing, the Bricks can be returned to stores by 31 March 2026 and will be recycled through iQRenew.

This is the third Woolworths Bricks release, following the original supermarket set in 2021 and the Farm version in 2023. Judging by past demand, these are likely to be a hit again, especially with kids who love building, playing and a bit of backyard cricket.

  • Aw I do like these ! They are so much better than other collectables. They are however quite small which makes them unsuitable for younger kids or children with fine motor delay such as my youngest. I will collect them anyway because it’s always nice if she can share them with her class mates and friends which makes her feel inculded

  • One of my most favourite collections. Apart from the animal sound cards. These are just wonderful. We are a lego family we love building and these are a sure way to do it together. Collecting together, asking extended family to collect encourages confidence and language. Then playing and building together all the learning together through loads of fun.

  • Our grandkids will love these and I am sure will be checking Nanna & Dada’s bench each visit to see what we have for them! The collectables are much better than tokens in a book or cardboard figures. They will last and get great playtime out of them. I am disappointed to read (comment below) that they are not compatible with Lego.

  • My kids don’t like that these are not compatible with lego, but they do like the mini figures (I guess compatability doesn’t matter as much there). So I guess I will be collecting them again! I won’t go too far out of my way, though. I do like that this is building on earlier collections.

  • Oh no! Not another collectible! Although, I must say the cute little bricks that Woolworths does are one of my favourite ones. I wish my son would leave them in tact when we build them though, instead of pulling them apart all over the damn house! It is a constant frustration.

  • We will be doing a shop today and it will be interesting to see how many packets we get and if any of the items we purchase are bonus buys. We will be giving these to people in our networks; family and friends that love these bricks and promotions. They will have such fun!

  • Hit and miss for me, I am afraid! I don’t shop at Woolworths very often and when I do, it is normally less than $30 or $40 spends, I won’t be going out of my way to shop there to collect them. Now, if they offered a descent discount, that might be a different story.

  • We will not be actively collecting the bricks for ourselves for this current bricks promotion at Woolworths. We will collect them for family and friends that will be actively collecting and using them. It will be such a delight to be able to assist family and friends with their collecting of bricks.

  • I will definitely be collecting these. Such a fun thing for the kids! We collected a few sets last time without spending anything extra apart from our usual shop. My kids are still playing with the farm and shopping collection we got with their last promotion. It’s easy to accumulate a few packets from just doing a usual grocery shop.

  • Our kids are still playing with the farming bricks from the last lot. Actually excited myself about collecting these and adding to the kids collection. They’re also at a great age of four and five to start collecting them themselves. Just hope that the stores dont run out here in Tasmania like they always do though.

  • Oh no, kids are going to go crazy over these. I know my daughter loved collecting the last ones in 2023 but has not touched them since. I was only thinking about giving them all away the other day and now I see they are back once again. My daughter will be so excited to hear.
