Hello!

I used avocado oil as my carrier oil however almond, jojoba even a good quality extra virgin olive oil can be substituted.

Material

  • 1 small Plastic/glass container
  • 1/2 cup Avocado oil
  • 4 drops Melissa essential oil
  • 4 drops Vetiver essential oil
  • 3 drops Marjoram essential oil
  • 3 drops Benzoin essential oil

Method

  1. Pour avocado oil in small container & add essential oils. Mix well.

Notes

After experimenting with many blends I find this one to be the most calming. This blend is soothing on temples & great used for massage. I also find putting a little bit on a handkerchief & popping under pillow helps me relax.

  • You seem to have a wonderful mix here. My daughter does not like lavender, but I love it and find it very relaxing, so this oil you have created would be perfect for her, no lavender in sight.
I am wondering where you get your oils from though?, as oils can be expensive, and I am interested in a good site or place. Thank you for your recipe and I and am sure other mums would be interested in others for different aliments if you have them. cheers cherz.

    • I’m with you. Love oils but, they’re not cheap to find.
