Hello!

This took us ages to do and ages to collect all the pieces, a lot of them were cut to fit too.

Material

  • 1 Large bag of small driftwood pieces
  • 1 Bottle of superglue
  • 1 Piece of aviary wire
  • 1 Peice of coir twine
  • 1 Pair of tin snips

Method

  1. Using your tin snips cut the wire into a heart shape
  2. Once your driftwood has been thoroughly washed and dried lay it all out and figure out how you will position it to cover the wire completely, it's a good idea to have several layers.
  3. Once you have a rough idea about coverage start gluing down from the middle then work back from the edges. Fill any spaces with smaller pieces and just keep layering until you are happy!

Notes

You can use any shape really, a star or a wreath is also nice!

  • Driftwood is amazing, Mother Nature makes the best creations by far. Not sure if I could cut bits to fit, they’re so beautiful
