Are your lips still suffering the damage caused by a cold windy winter? Mix together these lip savers for the perfect pout.

Material

  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp raw honey
  • 2 Tbsp raw sugar
  • A dash of lemon juice

Method

  1. Combine all ingredients in a small bowl.
  2. Apply mixture with a new toothbrush in a gentle circular motion.
  3. Rinse off and follow up with your favorite lip balm. I recommend an all natural paw paw ointment.

  • Just what’s needed at the moment. My son has just started working as a labourer outdoors and his lips have paid the price. Great timing.

  • Getting cracks on the corners of my lips from just being really dry. Might give this a go. Hopefully the lemon juice won’t sting too much.

  • I make these all the time..I also just use extra virgin olive oil and sugar. The funny thing is that some high end make up stores sell these for $25+ when it’s so inexpensive to diy!
