Christmas decoration for the front door.


Material

  • 8 x 50cm paper wrapped stem wire
  • 8 x 1m pieces of coloured fabric
  • Masking tape

Method

  1. Bend wire into desired letters, using masking tape to connect the letters to form one word.
  2. Using fabric cover the letters.
  3. Stick to the door using masking tape.

  • These are terrific. Our kids have done a similar project just with pipe cleaners, but the wire will allow the project to be upscaled. Also great for birthday decorations and other special occasions.

  • I love this idea. The possibilities are endless too and much cheaper than buying pre-cut words in shops. I’m already planning to do “princess” for my daughter and “superhero” for my son. You could even use the sparkly / fluffy pipe cleaners to make more of a statement.

  • at first glance, i assumed that the string had been hardened with super glue and dried in that pose lol. my daughter did some simple art at school like that.
