She was one of the most controversial contestants in Married At First Sight Australia history, but Beck Zemek has found her happily ever after – giving birth to her first baby.

The Perth business manager and her boyfriend Ben Michell shared an emotional video on Instagram, detailing the birth of their little girl, who they named Immy Michell.

Beck, who is currently starring on Celebrity Apprentice, revealed that she went into labour on May 28, and tried to stay at home as long as she could before heading into hospital. But after a few hours she trekked into hospital to get pain relief, before going back home to wait for the contractions to get closer together.

It would be another 12 hours before with ‘constant vomiting’ before Beck and Ben went back to hospital, with Beck saying her ‘tank was almost empty’.

After 16 hours of labour, Beck found out she had only progressed to 2cm dilated, but she tried to ‘stay positive and ride the wave’. By 3am on May 29, Beck was 26 hours into labour, but things still weren’t ramping up.

At the 36 hour mark Beck was sucking on gas and air and said she was ‘mentally and physically exhausted’. But not long after her little girl finally arrived. “I’ve never been so emotional yet smitten in my life! Our hearts are so full. We never knew there could be a love like this. Here’s to the next chapter of our lives.”

Beck Zemek Reveals Pregnancy

The happy couple shared their pregnancy news on Instagram in December with a series of sunset snaps on the beach, with Beck showing her gorgeous baby bump.

“Ben and I are over the moon to finally announce we are expecting a bundle of joy in May 2022!,” she wrote. “Thank you to everyone who has kept this a secret for such a long time!!! Also for all the wonderful support over the last few months, it truly means the world to us. Who knew the best was yet to come, this is such a miracle for us and we are already over filled with love for you little one.”

The 29-year-old starred in series 8 of MAFS, where she was ‘married’ to Jake Edwards. And let’s just say it wasn’t wedded bliss. There were plenty of dust ups and awkward exchanges, and ended with secret video of her rendezvousing with a man in her hometown during filming of the show.

While she failed to find love on the show, she did find it with her Ben, who have been linked since early last year.
