  • I do my ironing two – three times a week so it doesn’t take too long and do it in the laundry to some music on my iPod.

  • Glass of wine on standby, chick flick on tv and a can of fabreeze help keep me sane with my current iron…having brought a cheap iron when i moved out of home 5 years ago i would love to trial the Phillips perfectcare aqua

  • Music….. It’s the only way to stay sane while iron….

  • i put my favourite movie on “dirty dancing” and iron away, patrick swayzee really makes it bearable

  • I listen to some music!! and boogie away!!!

  • Being carm while ironing is hard. But I try to make it exciting by listening to music and eating cheese grapes and biscuits.
I would love to show my family and friends this great iron. An iron that actually works would be a breeze.

  • Honestly every night while I iron I always have at least one child screaming at me to do something :-( it’s the only time they care

  • On a Sunday night when the kids and hubby are asleep and I have a movie I would like to watch playing!

  • Ironing relaxes me and I can have a bit of me time with still getting things done. With 7 kids there’s always lots of ironing.

  • I love the feeling of freshly ironed clothes. They feel so crisp and new. Thinking this makes me get through the loads of washing, which keeps me calm.

  • I find that i’m always quite calm while doing the ironing as it’s usually done when the kids are asleep and i have some soft music playing and a nice coffee on hand.

  • Listen to music and thinking of my daughter and husband how awesome they gona look in their clothes after been ironed

  • Ive been saving up my ironing just for this!!! I am going to sing my way through this huge pile hopefully I will get picked!!!

  • the best way to keepcalm and iron on is to get my son play his lego, turn on classical music and let yourself flow with the music. that will be bliss.

  • Do most of ironing by myself and keeping calm as if I look around my dresses are ready for burning .

  • how could you not keep calm if you had an iron like this one it might even be a joy to iron

  • Since our piles always grow before we realize, either my mum or one of my friends with little people will come over to visit. First we relax with a coffee since we don’t get to catch up as often as we’d like, then one of us will tackle both of our ironing piles while the other plays babysitter so the kids aren’t underfoot around the iron. Combining several kids clothing, LOTS of jeans, pretty, delicate clothing for us mums and my friends little girls and several different uniforms it’s nice to get it over and done with in one big hit!
The only condition is, they have to bring their own Iron for us to use with them since mine died a while ago!
I would love a fancy do-it-all iron to show off on our next ironing-date!
(This is me with our most recent group effort, and it was one of our smaller ones, crazy I know!)

  • I like to iron outside in the sun,
The kids are out of the way running around and
    having fun.
On the deck , i’m sheltered from the breeze
but there is plenty of sun, to make sure i get my
    vitamin D.
Then before i know it the sewing is done,
so the kids can enjoy some quality time with their mum.

  • Ironically I don’t mind ironing, I set the ironing bored up in the kitchen so that I can monitor my daughter, and try to involve her as much as possible by asking her to hand me the clothes, and explaining what mummy is doing. Saying that my $15 dollar iron is due for an upgrade as it is a very over used, but has served me well

  • Whenever I iron clothes I make it a point to do it in a different way to keep myself interested in it.
sometimes I do it while watching my favourite tv show or movie, next time I do it while listening to loud music in living room, when the baby is taking a nap I iron clothes in the laundry room with ipod n earphones . Once in a while I give hubby a chance to show me his skills at ironing clothes.
