Dino Ranch is a working farm and dinosaur sanctuary. It is home to the tight-knit Cassidy family, Ma and Pa and their adopted kids ten-year-old Jon, the leader and ‘dino-whisperer’, who is a fast-talking, wide-eyed young cowboy who fancies himself the fastest lasso in the west, super-caring eight-year-old Min, who is a young dino doctor in-training, and six-year-old Miguel, a smart, deep thinking, soft-spoken inventor with big ideas. All are training to be ranchers under the sure and steady guidance of their Ma & Pa.

The preschool series highlights the value of hard work and commitment to teamwork, as the three adopted young Cassidy rancheros, Jon, Min, and Miguel work on adapting to the ranch life by pulling together to look after the dinosaurs on the working farm.
