  • Joining a local swimming club. Swimming keeps me personally inspired, plus I get to stay fit and healthy, and shower for free!


  • Make sure you keep you finances in check, do not over spend on your credit card, pay it off in full monthly and set a budget for food, spends etc

  • We quit using the dryer, make batches of soups to freeze with leftovers and started buying essentials in bulk.

  • I had a garage sale before moving house & sold things that had cluttered my house that I didn’t need. Surprisingly at the end of the day everything was sold & a nice profit was made.


  • we have a change jar,we put all our change in there over the yr, then we buy our christmas dinner with it
