Enter to WIN 1 of 10 copies of Your Santa Agent Invitation, described by Reader’s Favourite as an ‘uplifting’ and ‘positive’ story, just in time for Christmas.

If you have been dreading the dilemma of telling your child Santa isn’t real, this new children’s picture book can help you navigate such an important conversation.

A parent’s guide to explaining Santa to children in a positive and enjoyable way, Your Santa Agent Invitation is written in a gentle and easy rhyme to let your child know that they have a special role to play in keeping the magic of Christmas alive.

By covering the history of Saint Nick and inviting the child to become a ‘Santa Agent’, this book transforms a time of potential loss into an opportunity for gain. It shows children that knowing the true identity of Santa is, in fact, a cause for celebration.

Your Santa Agent Invitation is available to purchase online via Amazon and in other leading online bookstores.

  • I’ve got two simple traditions one, my sister and I always watch jingle all the way together, every year! And my mum and I, would always have ham on toast for breakfast every Christmas day, she’s been gone 5 years now and I miss that tradition so much.

  • Decorating the Christmas tree together, especially with any ornaments that my kids have made. I still have some ornaments that I made as a child :-)

  • Sharing a Christmas lunch of prawns while listening to the same Australian Christmas carols from a 40 yr old cd. You can bet the old gravy boat will make an appearance as it has been handed down the family for generations..

  • A family BBQ brunch with champagne,
    Then when grandad becomes a pain;
We walk up to the park,
And play cricket until it gets dark!

  • Coming together with family on Xmas day each with our own dessert to share, my sweet tooth waits all year for this amazing feast

  • I like to make matching Christmas outfits for us all including the 2 chihuahuas!

  • Matriarch of huge family, ninety-seven including two newborn great grandchildren. We all very much look forward to our regular Boxing Day Christmas celebrations held each year at our local Surf Club, which is booked year to year. Keeps family together, and young ones absolutely love their many cousins.

  • We have eggnog while we are opening the presents; mine has a dash of rum in it.

  • Our family’s favourite Christmas tradition is attending Carols the weekend before Christmas. My children love the excitement of being out late and singing together with candles alit. Seeing children’s eyes light up, singing and swaying their candles, to me, really encapsulates the meaning of Christmas.

  • Tree erection and decorations on Dec. 1st. Greastgran’s silver trinkets and threepences into the Christmas pudding that all get to stir. Those who get threepences on Christmas Day trade them for special gifts to be collected from under Christmas tree.

  • Making rum balls for gifts and eating half the batch

  • Awake at daw our kids open theirChristmas stockings. When we wake up we begin opening gifts. We also put a notice in our church bulletin and spread the word that people on their own, not nec homeless, join us for Christmas lunch. That makes the day very special.

  • Drinking a bottle of Bailey’s while putting the Christmas tree up

  • Sneaking around filling up the kids Santa sack is by far my favourite thing about Christmas, then to watch their faces light up and show us all the cool things Santa got them, makes my heart full.

  • Having Christmas lunch and dinner together as a big family!

  • Our favourite favourite and most meaningful tradition is each year we get a Christmas decoration to represent something big that happened that year eg a milestone. Its special and a real memory box when we set the tree up each year.

  • Going to my grandma’s with my parents. Lighting up the brandy soaked pudding. Meeting long lost cousins. Unfortunately my parents and grandparents are all deceased – so it is very lonely around Christmas. Then the cousins couldn’t be bothered meeting up either.

  • Going down to the lake to watch Santa on the boat go bye playing his Christmas Carols and dancing.

  • We all come together to decorate the tree while listening to Christmas music and drinking mulled wine and egg nog.

  • Every year we sit around the Christmas tree first thing in the morning and do all of our family presents. We then have a family lunch and always play a Kris Kringle game which always gets a few laughs.
