  • Tennis throwing a rock & trying to hit it with a club

  • Parkour was invented in cave man times out of pure desperation to get away from an angry mammoth!

  • Tennis probably involved a few sticks and a bear hide attached to it as the net. The ball was a coconut which rewarded with a refreshing drink when it broke.

  • I like esports so A caveman was hitting a rock against a wall and another caveman decided to do it faster- before long there was a crowd cheering them on and betting which one could go faster and esports were born!

  • Football was Invented when two hungry families battled against each other in the fight over a coconut

  • Cricket, invented in caveman times by a child with a lump of wood and a small rock

  • I would say my favourite sport was invented as a matter of survival in Caveman times, they were probably fishing and fell in the ocean, so they learnt to swim.

  • Canoeing… Logs float and a couple of tree branches would propel you along faster…

  • Hard to believe but Cavemen invented tennis as a way to cool down hot chunks of meat. One caveman would throw it to the next and so one. Tired of burning their hands, they started using sticks and hitting it to each other. You can see how it would evolve …

  • Golf was invented by a solidudinarian caveman who hit a fossilized rock into an asteroid crater using a whalebone. As the missing link between man and ape, he named the area to play golf – the links. The elusive evolutionary claim is that golf is a club-and-ball sport.

  • Caveman, up a tree hiding from a hippopotamus
Hippopotamus growing bored, realised it was nicer back in the water, trundled off. Caveman discovered the difficulty in climbing down. Decided to remove his shawl, swing it above his head and jump.
Thus was the invention of the sport of skydiving.

  • Tennis was created when giant spiders were around and crept up on sleeping cavemen. In the alarm, they were batted around the room until off court!

  • Skateboarding
In order to survive caveman found a way to slide down dinosaurs backs and off their tails. Finding it fun they eventually built boards known as “escapeboards”. They are now known as “skateboards”.

  • The humble ball was made with the sinews of animals, tightly wound around and around to make a ball. Covered in animal hide for endurance. But before that just everyday things like apples and oranges also used as balls for playing catch!

  • The Javelin! An early way to learn accuracy and pierce some dinner for the family!!

  • Throwing rocks at each other and then trying to throw them in a hole – basketball!!

  • Hurdles, they were either hunting their prey or being hunted as prey, so they needed to be able to move quickly and jump over rocks, bushes etc and anything else that was in the way.

  • australian ninja warrior was invented in caveman times, natures obstacle course where you were born to run, jump, balance and climb just to survive

  • The wife threw the rock at hubby and dodgeball was invented

  • A sport I don’t excel at, but I find so interesting to watch and play – Javelin. Not a sport in the caveman times, it was a way of life to survive!
