  • We’re a defence family, and our kids are so lucky to have their dad. Whether I’m sick or in hospital, he steps up without a second thought. He lets our twins and little one paint his nails, fills their days with laughter and love, and shows them what a real hero looks like every day. Spent everyday working when our twins were in Nico u& special care for 4.5 months after being born at 28+1 weeks and then Learnt how to do their nasal gastric tubes and home oxygen to support me.

  • We’re a defence family, and our kids are so lucky to have their dad. Whether I’m sick or in hospital, he steps up without a second thought. He lets our twins and little one paint his nails, fills their days with laughter and love, and shows them what a real hero looks like every day. He worked every single day of our ex 28 weeker twin nicu/special care journey which was 4.5 months long. And came to hospital to see them every single day after work. Learnt how to do their home feeding nasal gastric tubes and helped me with their full time home oxygen for 1 year!

  • Our dad is the most generous, fair, loving, loyal, patient, hardworking and selfless man I know. He always puts others before himself and would do anything for anybody. Nothing is ever too much! He is an incredible role model. The values he models are admirable, and if the kids grow up to be parents like him, I’d be ever so proud!

  • My kids’ dad is incredible because he is always generous with them, and it is that loving and giving nature that is such an amazing example for them as they grow up. I will always champion him in the hope that one day he sees what I see in him, and know that he is more than enough!

  • Nothing’s too much, to big or too small, Daddy does it all and more with them, having the patience of a Saint, and as pressed for time as he is, he still has all the time in the world for the kids. He loves them and you can see it in his actions, as well as his smile when they charge at him after work.

  • My eight daughters have the best dad…there’s nothing he wouldn’t do for them

  • My toddler has the best dad because he chooses to work from home so he can see him during the day every day and always puts him first

  • My children and I will always be thankful for him. He’s living proof that good men still exist. Good fathers, good husbands, steady providers. The kind who step up, stay consistent, and give their all in the way they know how – and/or take real concrete efforts even when they don’t know how due to shortcomings in their own childhood. Even when no one is watching.

  • My husband does so much to model greatness for our toddler and will for our next bub too. He’s a public doctor and is proud to care for our community, and after every long day plays with our son until dinner time then does his bath routine and helps at bedtime.

  • My husband works incredibly hard as a doctor, but always makes sure hes home to read the kids a bedtime story!

  • Our children have the best dad who is loving, a good listener and supports our children with sport, crafts and reading.

  • A hands on Dad and that’s what they need,
    With total involvement guaranteed!

  • Dad is a huge Bluey fan too.

  • I have three young boys and they are very blessed to have the best Dad AND the best father figures in their lives. Their Dad Joel works very hard so that they get to experience a fulfilled and happy life, including going on different holidays and getting to participate in sports. Dad Joel always makes sure he is mentally and emotionally available to the children as well which is just so important these days, to be there so your children known they can come to you whenever they need to.

  • Who else would pull a princess in her princess carriage walking along a busy main road to kfc. Princesses feet were up and she had his iPhone blaring kiddy music . Thanks Oliver !

  • He’s irreplaceable with his grumpy sense of humour

  • My kids have a father who is always able to make them smile or laugh, when they are happy or sad.

  • Our three little boys are all under five, so life is busy, loud and full of chaos. Through it all, their dad is their safe place.
He has endless patience, even after a long day at work. Every night he’s home, he sits down and reads them stories, making each one feel special before bed. Their mornings often start with his eggs on toast, and their days are filled with bike rides, kicking the footy in the backyard, laughter and cuddles.
What makes him the best dad isn’t the big things it’s the little things he does every single day without expecting anything in return. He shows our boys what kindness, patience, love and being present look like. They’re growing up knowing they are loved beyond words because of the time and effort he puts into them.
Our boys may be too young to tell you why they have the best dad, but I get to watch it every day. To them, he’s their biggest hero, their favourite playmate and their greatest comfort. And to me, that’s what makes him the best Dad they could ever ask for.
