The little 6 year old boy I babysit is going through a heartbreaking time. His mum walked out and his dad is doing everything he can to hold their world together on his own. I’ve been helping during school holidays and some afternoons and even in all that sadness, he still lights up at the smallest bit of joy. Being able to hand him something like this… something fun, something heroic, something that lets him escape for a moment… I know it would put the biggest smile on his face.
