Watching the girls play with them, and make up their own stories. Very different from the hard plastic toys the boys want

My daughter had a care bear as a baby and to fall asleep she’d flick its ear. She flicked its ear so much it developed a hole in the ear. She’d put her finger through it and carry it everywhere. She’s now 14 and still has it in her room.

I grew up in a very low income household and never had a Care Bear so now i tend to live my childhood fantasies through my own daughter so would love this for her to spoil her rotton because she is such a girly girl and absolutely adores Care Bears

My favourite memories are the ones I am making now with my mini me, just like me she loves her care bears especially my 25 year anniversary care bear, it’s her comfort teddy.

I used to own a care bear when I had my 10 years birthday – this surely has brought up the precious memory!

I remember getting my care bear and loving it but I often wonder what happened to it!

Growing up we had a carebears sleepover, … and we were all in our late teens. A last pretend at being kids. Fun times!

From dress ups and dancing to the theme song to cuddling up at night with our own Cate Bears…now our daughters are doing the same!

I have actually never had a Care Bear but would love to share the Care Bear experience with my two year old great granddaughter.

I received my good luck bear when I was 10 – I still have him and talk to him like I did as a child – he is my good luck charm and my oldest friend

Receiving my first and only Care Bear for Christmas when I was 7

My Aunty called me on my 4th birthday pretending to be the care bears because I loved them so much

I had a long stay in hospital and took it with me.
The nurses bandaged it, gave it a scrub cap, mask and bought me a toy stethscope.
10 years later I graduated as a nurse .
I now do things like that for my patients.

Sharing with friends our care bears. And just enjoying our toys.

Feeling so brave at night as I hugged my care bear as I went to sleep. It gave me peace & hope of good dreams.

Getting my first Care Bear all my Christmas;s come at once

When my parents entertained, al my cousins and family friends would be over and sent to the bedrooms to “sleep” There was never any sleep, there was always Care Bears. We’d make up stories about each one and swap with each other until the next parents night out.

When my parents would entertain, my cousins and family friends would sleepover. We all had Care Bears and we’d swap our bears for weeks at a time. I love that Care Bears are still around, saw one at Book Week just this morning!

Growing up with a care bear I had such a strong bond with, it came everywhere with me. Would love that for my kids too.
