Cabbage Patch Kids go hi-tech with Baby So Real

Baby So Real is the most advanced Cabbage Patch Kid ever!  She allows children to enjoy a truly magical and interactive experience with a baby doll – combining traditional play patterns with ground-breaking technology.

Baby So Real’s interactive sweet baby sounds and random reactions are designed to surprise and delight.  With just a touch, Baby So Real comes to life with beautifully animated LCD eyes that open, close and look around. Her realistic features encourage interactive nurturing play, with sensors for peek-a-boo and tickle play, feeding from a special bottle, burping, nappy changing, and rocking to sleep. If your baby should develop a fever, you can calm those red cheeks by administering TLC from a magical spoon.

Just like the original Cabbage Patch Kids, Baby So Real is soft and cuddly, and comes with a complete outfit and nappy.  She also has a special interactive bottle and medicine spoon, birth certificate and adoption papers plus a free baby monitor style app for virtual play.  The free app allows a phone or tablet to simulate a baby monitor. The online mode allows you to see a virtual nursery where you can play with your baby, feed, change, burp and administer TLC. You can also play games, watch video clips and earn baby points for additional virtual accessories and new features.

Available from Toys R Us and all good toy retailers now, and Myer from November, for RRP $249.  Recommended for ages 3+.

Meet the new Kids on the Block

If you want to relive your childhood and memories of your own Cabbage Patch Kid, meet the newest Kids to join the Cabbage Patch.  Each now comes with a very special accessory. It’s the key to your heart. That’s right, each Kid has a matching heart shaped key to unlock the love you will share as a family.

As your family grows, you may decide that having a pet would be a lot of fun too. The special heart shaped key unlocks the heartbeat of the Cabbage Patch Kids Adoptimals Pets and they make great interactive friends… Adoptimals are available separately.

These 14-inch Cabbage Patch Kids come in a variety of ethnicities, hair colours and eye colours with the traditional CPK baby powder scent, a unique one-of-a-kind name, adoption papers and Birth Certificate.

When Cabbage Patch Kids launched in the 80’s, they were so popular that many stores sold out within weeks, sometimes hours, of the Kids hitting store shelves. With 100s of millions of Kids adopted since 1983, Cabbage Patch Kids are one of the world’s most iconic toys.  The Kids continue to strike a chord with parents and children as one of the most recognisable and beloved children’s properties of all time.

Cabbage Patch Kids are ready to be adopted and become part of your loving home! Available now from Big W, Toys R Us, Myer, Toyworld and Independent Toy Retailers for RRP $89.95 and recommended for ages 3+.

  • Born Jeremy David but that easily changed,
Wearing blue pants I thought was rather strange,

Dressed “HIM” in nappies, lace and PINK!
Looking in hindsight, I can see why Mum and Dad would ALWAYS giggle and wink!

  • I remember getting mine. I was so excited! It had a little Xavier signature on the bum and cute little squooshy knees. Then I saw the name on the birth certificate… Magnita Tuls. What?! Oh no… I can’t call my doll that!! I’m going to call her Trudy.
