  • Our go to, never fails, always delicious recipe is my chilli chicken stir fry. Never disappoints and that one dish that becomes a family favourite!

  • My nan’s scone recipe.

  • My special occasion recipe (and a firm family favourite) – Prosciutto-wrapped pork roast with pears and maple syrup.

  • My nans Carrot Cake recipe, its delicious.

  • I’d love these to put my favourite patties recipe and others that have been handed down to me. A great keepsake to pass on and very handy too!

  • My famous tiramisu. This is the one desert that brings the whole family together as my children are fussy and then I end up making several different deserts just to please them all.

  • My Mothers famous trifle which we have every year,

  • Miso soup. I have just discovered Miso and it’s such a healthy, quick and tasty alternative to making my own broth. We buy it at the local market, so it’s natural, sustainable and supports a small, local business. Perfect for a small kitchen as the jar takes only a little room in the fridge freeing up space in the freezer for prepared meals. So versatile and so useful for those slightly limp vegetables in the crisper and the kids love it despite containing seasonal leafy greens.

  • Risotto…..I’ve modified the one in a cookbook I have so that it’s vegan. It’s actually really lovely with coconut milk, instead of sour cream…although sour cream was nice too. Pumpkin, leek, spinach, eggplant, vegan fetta and pinenuts. Delish

  • The coffee machine settings because my two year old keeps on changing them and out morning coffee is never the same.

  • I’d love to write down my daughter’s favorite meals so that I can teach her to cook. My mother made me a book when I started cooking and by time I was in highschool I was cooking dinner almost every night from it. Great learning resources.

  • Beautiful Nana which brought me up and left me her hand written journal of gorgeous recipes some handed down from Great Gran too, be a privilege to re-write all into Creators Friend Journals. Nana’s journal is falling apart, saving a lifetime of precious recipes.

  • My family’s favourite of mac and cheese – full of flavour, bacon and cheese!!

  • Cinnamon crumble muffins. A family favorite which my 3 young boys absolutely love! They love to help make them & they are perfect for school lunchboxes. We always make a double batch as they never last long in the house.

  • I would write my grandmother’s sponge cake in it. It’s the best cake I’ve ever tasted and every time I make it. It reminds me of her and our times baking together. I wish my kids could have met her.

  • The recipe for my famous gorgonzola gnocchi.

  • My mums home made tomato relish recipe. I have been meaning to get to writing down all my mums and grandmothers old recipes so they don’t get lost when they pass on. This looks like a perfect vessel to document their history.

  • The first recipe I would write in the journal is chocolate spiders; it is a special recipe that I make with our three year old regularly

  • Mum’s Eclairs homemade from scratch! My mum is an amazing baker and these eclairs are everyone’s favorite! Extremely tricky to get right so I definitely need to write down every detail and trick to the recipe <3

  • Tamales. It is a recipe that my mum taught me to do and has been passed from generations. I absolutely would loke for my kids to have it and for it to be passed to my grandkids and so on.
