The original hills hoist was the most wonderfully designed machine known here in Aust. Unfortunately we no longer have a big backyard where we can put in a hills hoist and kids can swing on them, though they have been told not to. The modern hills hoist try to get the benefit of a wind tunnel near your apartment or small back yard. But I’d love one because I still want to buy Australian

After 13 years in Aus, I have yet to try spin the goon bag on a Hills Hoist. I think my youngest is weaning himself, so maybe it’s time to try!

We’re currently using rafters in our outdoor car garage to hang clothes. A hills hoist would save our garments from rain, dust and bugs, plus splinters and spiders that end up in our “clean clothes” plus money saved from regular rewarding. Would be a massive ‘hoist’ in the right direction!

I’d love a Hills Hoist to help with modernising my back yard, We have an old line that has drooping lines and the part that holds the line up so she can have it on different heights no longer works so its very low

The Hills Hoist is quality product that lasts the test of time, unfortunately the kids like to use it as a swing and tend to grab onto my towels that im trying to dry and spin around which the Hills Hoist doesn’t really like, now sagging and needs replacing

My son Alex is ‘HILLS’larious. He said, “Mum, our clothesline resembles a scarecrow with protruding hands; it’s scaring the posties. They won’t come near our home”. Alex is a bright spark despite his autism, always by my side ‘HOIST’nestly, keeping me company, helping me across the ‘LINE’ during our quaran‘TEEN’!

I’ve lived in my house 16 years and I’ve never had a clothesline this would be perfect for me as my teenagers go through their clothes and it’s hard to keep up with all the extra clothing and bigger clothes all the time

Would love an upgrade to a Hills Hoist. The foldable retracting lines would be amazing in our small backyard. Our current clothesline is tiny and outdated leaving our sheets all bunched up. What a fab prize!
