10 lucky winners will receive Sue Series book sets valued at $53.

The Sue Series Book Sets help parents, carers and teachers to teach young children (aged 4-9 years) how to deal with emergencies, bullying and ‘stranger danger’.

Book Set #1: Numbers to Know – How to Use the Numbers 0-0-0

Book Set #2: Give Those Bullies ‘The Flick’

Book Set #3: Say ‘NO’ to Strangers

Created as a fun and simple 3-step process, these curriculum-friendly books are perfect tools for installing in small children the vital emotional and physical life skills needed for understanding and remembering the necessary steps, taking action, and following the steps through, (automatically and confidently), when faced with a serious situation – just like Sue in the Story Time books!

Each book title covers one topic taught as three separate stages using three different styles of books: 3 x 3 = 9 (books) per set:

Step One: Story Time book – introduces the topic at a child’s level in a fun and simple way (hard copy)

Step Two: Teaching Guide – teaches a child important details about what to do and why (hard copy)

Step Three: Learning Activities Set – reinforces with a child what has already been taught (40 pg. printable pdf file)

The complete Sue Series book set consists of (9) nine books and there are ten sets to be given away for this prize.

The new Sue Series Book sets will be available from the 14th of December, after completion of the very first print run.

  • Give Those Bullies ‘The Flick’, because sadly enough there are too many cases of bulling in schools and it is very damaging to kids.

  • Numbers to Know, he is fascinated by numbers.

  • Numbers to Know because it’s great for our kids to start with the basics.

  • Say ‘NO’ to Strangers because it’s so important for our kids to know the danger out there because they are so naive and innocent.

  • Numbers because my little 2 year-old granddaughter is so into it at the moment.I think it’s very important in our everyday lives.

  • Give those bullies the Flick – what a great subject to write on. No matter how big or small the problem is – that is a great lesson to any child.

  • Talk to strangers book. I would love a book that helps explain this to my daughter

  • The first I would read to my son would be “Saying no to strangers”. He is the most social kid and gets talking to anybody. I have to tell him already there may be a scary man . Having this book will help me explain it better without scaring him.

  • If given the opportunity I will read these books first… she is only four months old right now. This is a great prize, thank you

  • Give bullies the FLICK! They are in all walks of life, so best to learn early how to deal with these BAD PEOPLE!

  • Numbers to know because its important info

  • Say ‘NO’ to Strangers. These days, it is SO important to educate little ones on personal safety and not to talk to strangers. This way, I can sleep a little better at night knowing my little ones have this knowledge.

  • Give those bullies the flick.

  • Numbers to know because my 23 month old is currently learning all about his ABC’s and 123’s

  • say know to strangers i think this book is important to read to all little ones with out scaring them

  • Say “NO” to Strangers. However, I wish I could find a book that spoke about being able to say “NO” to those you know as well.

  • Whichever book my daughter chooses.
One of the primary benefits of reading to toddlers and preschoolers is a higher aptitude for learning in general. Numerous studies have shown that students who are exposed to reading before preschool are more likely to do well in all facets of formal education.

  • Whichever one I’m told. The best way to keep him interested is to keep him involved with the choices!

  • Numbers to Know – I realised recently that only my older two children know how to dial 000, our youngest doesn’t!

  • Say ‘No’ to strangers is always important to remind kids.
