I know I should say wedding or giving birth but honestly witnessing myself go from a bullied, depressed suicidal teen who wanted nothing more to die, to the happy cheerful successful woman I am is crazy. The greatest moment was when I passed my degree and I could finally help people like I was once helped. Also my son finally used the potty last night, yay!

One moment of greatness would have to be the day I was born I made my parents very happy.

The birth of my kids, nothing compares to what I felt on that magical day.

That moment, when I held my first child in my arms for the first time, when I knew that from this moment on, come what may, I am a Mum – that is the greatest moment, ever!

The greatness would be the birth of each child, seeing them that first second and knowing they are healthy and perfect.

Receiving my PhD! From high school, to a 4 year undergraduate degree with honours to a 5 year PhD! Handing up my thesis was quite a moment and receiving in back from examiners with only minor changes was even better ❤️ But my pic shows SO many proud moments!

Being alive at 50 is pretty great. All 3 births were pretty great. Wedding was great. Every moment of love is one moment of greatness, even this moment.

Despite being a young carefree Registered Nurse I was sensible enough to know I should do my Midwifery training. I worked and studied very hard and will never forget the day I received the phone call to say I had passed.

Witnessing my son become school Captain of his high school. I became pregnant with him at the age of 20 and had little idea what I was doing. I am beyond proud of our journey together and the amazing young man he has become.

Becoming a Mum such a beautiful moment bringing our family into the world

In a supermarket, with my sole focus on getting in and out. Hurrying my children, I noticed my daughter had fallen behind. She had noticed an elderly lady struggling to reach a packet and she was helping her with the biggest smile. My heart has never been so full.

When I met my wife – and we came together as a couple to have the children we now have

if I had to choose one thing it would be spending a day at the show with children with Down syndrome. The joy they brought me from their innocence, love of life stayed with me through my life. I thank them for reminding me to live life to fullest.
