My wife says putting our baby daughter on my chest with my arms gently wrapped around her. The rhythm of my heart and the warm of my arms does the trick.

When my son was a baby, he would only go to sleep if I held him in my arms while watching ‘Law & Order’. Without such loud background noise, he would be ‘resisting a rest’.

Im very guilty of laying in bed in the dark breastfeeding and its my guarantee of getting baby to sleep so i can have a few hours sleep

A full belly and dry nappy always helps my baby get to sleep.

My baby doesn’t like to sleep so when he does we have to check he is breathing which often wakes him up. Such a cycle. This would stop it from happening. Otherwise trick is the car or feeding to sleep

My nephew has justt had a baby daughter my go-to trick for him to have his baby sleep perfectly is a cuddle, kiss with a bedtime story.

In all honesty boob.. calms them settles them and makes them and me super sleepy!

Telling her it’s bedtime and ensuring the temperature is right,
So far she’s been alright!

It comes down to the instincts of their mother.

A bedtime story with relaxing sound effects and running my hand through his hair. That always does the trick – sometimes i get snores too hehe
