Jamie and Jools Oliver have revealed their latest addition's name

Baby number 5 arrived into the Oliver family 2 weeks ago and proud Dad Jamie posted a gorgeous snap to his Instagram account announcing his baby boy’s safe arrival, though the name has been kept a secret until now – well, possibly until now – the family are yet to confirm the name.

The Oliver family all have quite whimsical names – Daisy Boo Pamela Oliver (13 years old), Petal Blossom Rainbow Oliver (7 years old), Buddy Bear Maurice Oliver (5 years old), Poppy Honey Rosie Oliver (14 years old) and it appears the latest addition is following in his older siblings footsteps.

Jools Oliver posted an image overnight that hinted at her little boy’s name. Captioning the image with a simple rocket and blue heart emoji, the mum of 5 appeared to reveal her little boy has been named River.

Both parents have been proudly sharing images of their little boy across social media.

We think River is a gorgeous little name and wish the family all the very best!

I like the name River, but I tend to steer clear of rhyming names and/or names where the first and surname start with the same letter. River Oliver is a little too much ‘v’ for me. But, they can name their child what they want as they’ve proven in the past.

I actually don’t mind the name River but I am not all that keen on the names of their other children. But I completely respect it is what they have chosen for their precious children. Beautiful Family.

I wonder how much this little boy is going to be teased about his name. I know humans can be very cruel with their teasing. Do parents give any thought to the possibility and the effect it could have on the child’s life?? Some the nickname sticks with them for many years.
