A jar filled with eggs or goodies is a cute Easter gift that is special and cost effective to give children or adults. They are so easy to make and look amazing.

DIY Easter treat jars

Reuse your old jars and use stencils and paint (you could use spray paint) to make cute bunny (or desired) designs. Use contact as the stencil and then peel it off carefully after you’ve painted.

How good do they look?! You could easily make some of these for presents. The kids can even use the jars after they’ve eaten the chocolate to store their treasures in. You could use plastic containers for smaller children.

I’m going to making some for my nieces and nephews.

  • I love the ones that are painted!
We haven’t really made anything special this year other than some “bunnies” out of toilet rolls and decorated a cheap hat with Easter bits and bobs.
I’ve bought my toddler a little plaster kit that has chicks and bunnies to paint.

  • They really look adorable! I don’t think I will make much this year, beside the usual Easter tree. This is the one I made last year. It brings colour into the house! :-)
