Almonds add a delicious crunch and flavour to the beans!

Ingredients (serves 3)

  • 2 cups green beans (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/4 cup slivered almonds

Method

  1. Cook your beans how you desire. We have frozen beans that we microwave for around 3 - 4 minutes.
  2. In a pan, lightly brown the slivered almonds.
  3. Mix (or sprinkle) the slivered almonds with the beans.

  • A different way to have beans and a healthy way too
