Bacon and egg picnic pots are perfect little mouthfuls for outings to the park.


Ingredients (serves 6)

  • 6 slices bread
  • 220 g bacon, chopped
  • 6 eggs, lightly beaten
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Cut the bread into large circles and press into muffin trays and bake for about 5 minutes.
  2. Sprinkle some bacon onto each bread case and pour the egg mixture on top. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Bake in the oven for about 10 minutes or until cooked.

Notes

Ham and other fillings can be used for these tasty little pots.
