Ingredients (makes 1 smoothie bowl)
- 1 cup fresh ripe strawberries, halved
- 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 large ripe banana, peeled and frozen
- 1 large cooked beetroot
- 5 ice cubes
- 1/2 cup light coconut milk or almond milk
- 2 teaspoons pure maple syrup or honey
- To Serve Fresh mixed berries, muesli, flaked or shredded coconut, plain yoghurt
Method
- Add all ingredients for the smoothie to a high-powered blender. Blend until thick and smooth. Pour smoothie into two bowls. Top with choice of fresh berries, granola, flaked coconut, and/or plain yogurt
