An easy mustard sauce which accompanies corned beef or chicken. I added 2 heaped tablespoons of mustard but you can adjust quantity to suit taste.


Ingredients (makes 1 Jar)

  • 1 cup Cooking cream
  • 2 tablespoons Seeded mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Butter

Method

  1. Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan.
  2. Cook over a medium low heat for approximately 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper if required.

  • Yum, This would be nice with steak too I think

  • Oh nice and easy to make with little ingredients.
    I’m always on the lookout for different sauces as hubby is a big fan of steak.
    He usually eats it by itself but I prefer having a sauce or gravy of some sort just to give it a bit more flavour.
