Healthy snack for my little one.

Ingredients (serves 1)

  • Carrot
  • Apple
  • Sultanas
  • Celery sticks

Method

  1. Use a halved small peeled carrot for the dragonfly body. Create wings using unpeeled apple wedges decorated with dried sultanas. Using celery sticks for the antennas.
  2. Serve with a glass of milk.

  • This is such an adorable idea, I’m loving these fun fruit and veggie recipes. My toddler loves bugs if all kinds. But is especially captivated by butterflies and dragonflies right now. This will definitely be a winning snack in our house. And it’s all ingredients we have in the house often

  • This recipe looks absolutely delightful—so bright, fresh, and inviting. My grandson would love the mix of crisp apple, sweet sultanas, and crunchy carrot and celery which I am not too sure about, and I’m sure other little ones would enjoy it just as much. It’s wonderfully creative, turning simple ingredients into a fun, healthy snack that feels both playful and nourishing. Great idea.

  • So creative!
I actually never think to create little creatures with the food I give my kids. It might help to make them eat what I give them!
    Thank you for the inspiration.
