Golden® Crumpets with Oats topped with Golden Syrup and Blackberry Jam

A delicious way to enjoy Golden® Crumpets with Oats

Ingredients (serves 1)

2 Golden crumpets with oats
Butter
Golden Syrup
Blackberry Jam

Method

Toast crumpets until they have a light brown colouring on top
Butter quickly while it's hot so that the butter melts through and the bottom is nice and juicy.
Cover one crumpet generously with Golden Syrup, and the other with Blackberry Jam.
Enjoy the delicious taste of crumpets dripping with syrup and jam. Don't forget to mop up any drips on the plate with your crumpets!

We often have toasted crumpets with blackberry jam but never tried the golden syrup before. Might make a nice change. Thanks for sharing.
