Fried egg on the toasted sandwich makes it look so delicious. I’m not huge steak fan but you could substitute it with chicken, ham or whatever you like. It looks like a nice recipe and you can go light on the mayo or heavy if it’s your thing. Thank you. Looks great.

I love a steak sandwich for lunch on a Sunday. It is one of my go to choices when we go out for lunch or when I am making lunch at home. As the recipe above I also add beetroot and mayonnaise but when made at home I sometimes don’t have bread.

I was veggie for 15 years and only recently started eating beef and one thing I do crave especially around that time of the month is a tasty steak sandwich! This looks delicious, I have never thought about adding the add also, that would make it an easy way to meet my protein needs

Why spend money and buy one from the fish and chip shop when you can make your own at home? This one looks delicious and is really making me crave a steak sandwich now. I like to use the thin sizzling steak, load it up with tomato sauce, add lettuce, egg and beetroot! Yum!

A steak sandwich always sounds so good and it is, just along as the steak is not too hard to bite into! So you have to make sure you have a thin steak or a sizzle steak and don’t make it too tough! A great meal, easy to eat with no knife and fork and has all the salad and bread with it!

A Steak Sandwich is one of the best home meals I think that exists. Such an underrated delicious meal that makes everyone so happy. I was trying to use steak that was really thin but have found a thick steak sliced is the best way to go too. Our family fave.

There’s not much I like more than a well made steak sandwich and this one looks particularly good. Although I would personally add some fried onion and a slice of pineapple just for that extra something. I also really like to add chutney instead of tomato sauce sometimes but hold the Mayo:)

The variations for sandwhich fillings are countless indeed ! Personally I’m not a fan of mayonaise tomato sauce or any sauce actually and do not eat meat either, but plenty other ideas to what you could add. My older kids are really into fancy sandwiches these days and it’s lovely to watch their creations

That sounds great! The only issue with using standard bread though is that it may fall apart a lot easier. I find steak sandwiches hard to eat at the best of times because the meat is quite fibrous and doesn’t break apart with your bite as easily as other meats. Maybe brisket would work better?

Who doesn’t love a good old steak sandwich. It is a classic and a favourite in most households. i grew up on these as they were my dad’s absolute favourite and still are. I don’t tend to make them these days but it has bought back memories of eating them as a child.

Also; I love to add some bacon to a steak sandwich. When we go to a bbq; I will always select a steak sandwich over any other food from the bbq. A steak sandwich is so easy to hold in the hands and to eat with very little mess; which is a bonus.

I am a big fan of making sandwiches with plenty of substance and plenty of fillings. A steak sandwich does not quite hit the spot with me until it has all the fillings. My favourite filling is egg, cheese and of course delicious beetroot. This steak sandwich looks so tasty and terrific.

Oooh, I’ll definitely need to try this!

Now this is a steak sandwich after my heart, with the lot! What a classic.
