These Mini fruit skewers are bound to jazz up any lunchbox, and not only will the kids love to eat them, they can also have fun making them too!

Ingredients (makes 13 mini skewers)

  • Watermelon
  • Kiwi fruit
  • Strawberry
  • Blueberry
  • Orange
  • Greek yoghurt
  • Honey
  • Toothpicks

Method

  1. Cut the different fruits into small shapes. I used small cookie cutters to do this, but you can just cut onto chunks if you prefer
  2. Thread onto toothpicks with a couple of different fruits on each one
  3. Put the Greek yoghurt into a small dish and drizzle with honey

Notes

I make these the night before and put into a little container in the fridge to store them. Any combination of fruit can be used to suit your child's likes

  • These are so cute! Ive got some plastic picks that i had ordered from a kids lunchbox website and now it’s given me inspiration on how to use them to make this recipe. Ive always been terrified to use wood like toothpicks in case it splintered or they hurt themselves though

  • If any of your kids have a favourite fruit you might have to “referee” so they all get a share of them.
