I can’t even tell you how ridiculously delicious this viral slice is. A biscuity base and all of the lollies of our Aussie childhood – you need to make this for Christmas!

Yes it’s very sweet – just a little square is enough for a sweat treat, so this recipe serves lots of people!

Ingredients

  • 2 packs Scotch Finger biscuits
  • 395g can condensed milk
  • 200g melted butter
  • 2 cups mixed lollies, chopped
  • 375g chocolate
  • 1tbs vegetable oil
  • extra lollies

Method

  1. Combine crushed Scotch Finger biscuits and chopped lollies in a bowl.
  2. n another bowl combine melted butter and condensed milk, then pour this over the dry mixture and mix until completely combined.
  3. Press this mix into a lined slice tin.
  4. Melt chocolate with vegetable in the microwave (do it in 30 seconds increments, stirring in between)
  5. Pour the chocolate over the slice mix and top with additional lollies.
  6. Let set in the fridge for a few hours and cut up. Just try and stop at one piece!

Notes

If you find the mix a little sticky, add some extra biscuits or half a cup of desiccated coconut. You can also try adding less condensed milk or butter if you prefer a firmer base.

  • I really love this idea, it is such a nice and thoughtful home made gift. I make treats every year at Christmas for my friends and family as it shows you have taken time out of your busy schedule to do something for them. I tend to make rocky road etc but i love this idea, it sounds yummy.

  • Oh these look so fun to make with the kiddies! I like that it’s all everyday ingredients that are affordable too. My kids are always wanting to be in the kitchen and help out more and fun recipes like this is definitely what would excite my girls! You could definitely theme it around different holidays too

  • I think scotch fingers and short bread are quite nice just on itself, especially when you bake them yourself. But the look of this slice doesn’t appeal to me at all, far too sweet and nearly sickening to me. I must admit that I’m not a lolly or chocolate fan though.

  • This recipie really does look awesome and so great for christmas gift bags.
Im a little scared to make it incase i become addicted. I have a strong sweet tooth and feel that I could become addicted to this slice with great ease.
You could let each child select a different lolly to add

  • I completely agree with the comment below about Scotch Finger biscuits. They are so incredibly good for this time of the year when making lots of sweet treats for family and friends. We always keep a keen eye out for them when they are on special and buy them and have them in the pantry ready for recipes.

  • Wow, talk about a sugar overload! This is almost more of a fudge than a slice. I honestly don’t not know if I could do it. It just simply looks too sickly sweet. I can only imagine the calories. I am also not much of a lolly person. I would prefer chocolate any day!

  • This slice looks amazing! It would be a good slice to make for a kids birthday party. For me personally, it would be a bit too chewy with all the lollies. I don’t think my jaws could tolerate the chewing of the lollies. An easy slice to make though. Looks like a fun slice to make!
