An easy convenient puree for young children.
Ingredients (serves 1)
- 200 grams pumpkin
- 1 apple
- 1/4 cup water
Method
- Place the peeled and chopped pumpkin into a saucepan and just cover with water.
- Bring to the boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 10 minutes, then add peeled and chopped apple and continue to simmer until both are nice and tender.
- Drain, reserving a little of the liquid. Puree, using the liquid to achieve a smooth, runny consistency.
